It doesn’t work. I have XP and when i start the game, i only get a screen that asks if i want a new game or to continue a game, and after i make my selection, i only get a black screen

Hey Joseph I have the same problem, although when I start the game I get a black screen with the sound of what is possibly the developer sequence before the game starts and thats it. I cant exit the game and have to restart the pc. also the .bin files for some reason cannot be mounted and the xp patch does not work for me. Anyone else having this problem?

ey thx man, i hope it will work, because, i found this game on an another side, and it works, but after 10 hours playtime the game always goes down…^^

don´t look so bad, at first you need only one cd^^… the others you need later in the game. so please help me now, i allways need a cd to play, but no cd patch will work. and sorry that there is no http… but i can´t post it wiht….
ps.: to install, you must mount the cue-datei with dameon tools or another image programm.

no…. on gamecopyworld is now working patch…. and @kylew: download cd 1 all parts then diszippe all this zip datas and then you have there 2 files. you must mount with dameon tools or another programm the cue - file and then you can install.

i had it also.. i have a 4 CD version of FFVII and there
is some strange video player on the first installation CD and i had to install it and than no problem with the black screen… where you got black screen, a starting video should be played buyt without this player you just got black screen.

hey. i need this one answered quickly cause i’m running short on time for playing FFVII
i had the game working. things were going great. Aeris just died and Cloud/Barret/Tifa were just on their way to chase down Sephiroth. well this is where the story ends for me because i was blue screened which caused my game to crash. i kept the .sav file and re installed the game. it works…. but the numeric pad won’t let me control the game. i click the mouse button on the screen and it seems to make the game load to the “NEW GAME/CONTINUE” screen but i get no further. what do i do to get the numeric pad to work as the controls again?
